2 albums (“French Accent” in 2007 and “How To Make Friends” in 2010) under their belt and numerous collaborations (Jad Fair, Get Back Guinozzi!, R. Stevie Moore, Mike Watt, Lio …), Hifiklub musicians are very prolific.

Hifiklub doesn’t care about labels and opens his music to different collaborations with total freedom. Depending on the desires and opportunities, the strong rock root of the trio, made up of powerful rhythms, subtle melodies and incisive guitars, collides with the avant-garde jazz of Steven Bernstein (Sex Mob, Lounge Lizard …) or Skerik (Critters Buggin, Tuatara, Mad Season …), experimental music of Jean-Marc Montera and DJ Olive, french singer Lio‘s pop, blues twisted of the Legendary Tigerman, the folk Jesse Sykes, the no-wave of James Chance or Robert Aaron, or with the eccentricity of guitarists such as Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) and Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures).

On stage, Hifiklub performed live concerts in 2007 at les “Bars en Trans” (festival Transmusicales in Rennes), Marsatac Festival, les Vieilles Charrues remettent le son and at the Midi Festival in 2008 ; more recently at South By Southwest, le Point Ephémère and Villette Sonique in Paris.

In a few years only (they started in 2006), they became an unparalleled group of the French Riviera.

They worked with major producers of the US scene, Alain Johannes, Lee Ranaldo, Andrew WK, Don Fleming, Earl Slick but also with some prestigious European names (Legendary Tigerman, kptmichigan).
